PREGNANCY: Wellness Series

Dr. Shara Downey and Dr. Raquel Marques are part of
the only all female Chiropractic Health Services Clinic in Singapore. The
doctors use a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness
means looking for underlying causes of any disruption (which may or may not be
causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle
adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this
unique approach, the doctors help you to accelerate and/or maintain your
journey to good health.
The doctors commenced specialist training in Pregnancy and Pediatrics in 2003
and are registered as Practitioners with the Academy Council of Chiropractic
Pediatrics via the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr.
Raquel’s extensive pediatric knowledge began as a member of the CAPPA
(Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association). Prior to becoming a
Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Raquel was a member of CAPPA and attended births as
a Doula.
